Appearance Protection
Paint Protection
ECP’s innovative paint protection products are comprised of nano particles that fill, seal, and protect every square inch of the vehicle’s paint and exterior surfaces (including the wheels, black trim and molding and headlight lenses). Once our products touch the vehicle, they undergo what is called “reactive chemistry” – which means, rather than having a product simply sit on top of the vehicle’s paint, our paint protection products chemically bond to the applied substrate, or in this case, the vehicle’s painted surfaces. As a result of this bond, the vehicle’s painted surfaces become both contaminant and water resistant. Once cured, these chemical bonds are hard to break and provide outstanding, long-term protection, high gloss levels, and performance characteristics.
Our Diamond Ceramic® and Diamond Ceramic Plus with Graphene® exterior protectants, when applied to a vehicle’s painted surfaces, retain 97.8% of the vehicle’s gloss and shine after 7 years, compared to 26.2% on untreated surfaces.
Interior Protection
ECP’s advanced interior protection system contains a concentrated polymer water system. Once cured, treated surfaces are protected, excluding glass windows. Treated surfaces will repel oil, water and dirt without changing the appearance of the surface. The bonding of the polymer system is so strong that the treated surfaces withstand numerous cleanings.
In addition, our innovative interior protection system contains an advanced U.V. molecular compound which protects against cracking and fading on all leather and vinyl surfaces, including the dash. Product application on leather and vinyl further reduces the likelihood of a rip, tear or puncture by 34.3% due to the increased flexibility and durability of these treated surfaces. Furthermore, All-In-One® contains a flame-retardant chemistry which greatly reduces damage to vehicle Interiors from cigarette and cigar ignition by up to 50%.
Windshield Protection
ECP’s cutting-edge windshield protection technology combines carbon nanotubes with a hydrophobic blend, to not only repel water but strengthen the glass. Carbon nanotubes are unique types of molecules which have exceptional strength. They possess a tensile strength approximately 100 times greater than steel. Treated glass showed more than a 32% increase in break strength while repelling water, dirt, insects, and grime.
Nanomaterial or nanoparticles are incredibly tiny – ten million nanometers comprise one centimeter. The benefits of nanoparticles are they fill, seal, and protect every square inch of the vehicle’s paint and exterior surfaces – one billion nano particles can fit onto your fingernail, so we are talking about trillions and trillions of nanoparticles protecting your vehicle.
Nanoparticles also tend to increase the material’s water solubility, meaning we can take technologies that historically have been solvent based and make them water based, which makes our products easier and safer to use.
Nano diamonds are very small diamonds. Diamonds give the treated surface unparalleled shine and reflection.
Ceramics are hard, wear resistant crystalline molecules which form a chemical bond with the surface of the vehicle. These chemical bonds are strong and give the vehicle long term protection. Ceramics also withstand high temperatures.
Daily driven vehicles should be washed, at a minimum, once a month. Preferably, the vehicle would be washed every couple of weeks to maintain a new vehicle appearance.
Yes, you can utilize automatic car washes.
ECP’s paint protection has been scientifically tested to provide continuous protection for years to come. It virtually eliminates the need for regular waxing. However, if you enjoy spending time with your vehicle, we recommend using your ECP care kit to safely clean and detail your vehicle as many over the counter waxes contain harmful abrasives and chemical cleaners, which can ruin your vehicle’s appearance.
External contamination should be removed as quickly as possible with either a car wash or a damp microfiber towel using the paint cleaner provided in your ECP care kit. Do not use hard rubbing to remove the contamination to avoid marring the surface.
Claims
For exterior claims, you will need to complete the required claim form, provide a copy of your warranty, photos of the damage and an itemized estimate of the repair from either your local dealership or body shop of your choice.
For interior claims, you will need to complete the interior claim form, and to provide a copy of your warranty. An additional interior explanation form will need to be completed and can be obtained from any member of ECP’s claims department.
Our award-winning claims department will process your claim within 24 business hours of receiving all of the information required.
Corrosion protection can be applied immediately. However, painted surfaces must be allowed to cure for at least 30 days prior to any environmental paint and surface rust protection being reapplied.
Warranty Administration
No, because once the products have been applied, they cannot be removed or returned.
Contact our Warranty Administrator at 800.323.3521 with the correct information and it will be changed within our system. You may be asked to fax or email a copy of your warranty along with additional information depending upon the change.
Yes. If you have recently purchased a vehicle that already has our products applied, you may transfer the warranty into your name for a nominal fee. Please note that the original warranty document from the previous owner must be submitted to our office, along with a bill of sale showing proof of the new ownership along with the transfer fees. You can forward this information to the PO Box listed on the warranty.
A discount of $10.00 will be deducted from the transfer fee if multiple warranties are being transferred.
The original warranty, a check made to ECP Inc. for the transfer fee, and the new owner’s name, address and phone number.
Only lifetime warranties require an inspection, and only if this requirement is specified in your warranty document. This is during the 30-36th month after the original application. Refer to your warranty for the specific requirements necessary to keep it valid.
